C'garh Govt to send controversial CD to HC
Raipur, Oct 7 (UNI) The Chhattisgarh Government has decided to send controversial compact disc related to much-publicised Jaggi murder case to the High Court for inquiry and further action.
Chief Minister Raman Singh told reporters here today that the Law department had recommended the government to send the CD to the High Court.
''The government is sending the CD to the High Court Chief Justice and urge for inquiry into all its aspects,'' he said.
Following verdict in the Jaggi murder case, relatives of some accused had released a compact disc claiming that it contained clippings of judge's son admitting that he accepted bribe in the case.
Former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi's son Amit was acquitted by the court in the case.
