34 people held in vehicle lifting case

Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Oct 4 (UNI) Thirty four people, including three vehicle lifters, have been arrested and 28 motorcycles seized in connection of purchasing and selling of stolen vehicles here, police said today.

Superintendent of Police Vivekanand Sinha the gang comprising three people, who lifted new vehicles from the city and sold it to the denizens of distant rural areas in half prices.

A total of 31 villagers, who purchased stolen twowheelers, were also held, police added.
