PM strikes emotional chord with Bush
Washington, Sep 26 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh struck an emotional chord with US President George W Bush here, saying this could be his last visit to the US during his Presidency and that the people of India loved him ''deeply.'' ''...Mr President, this may be my last visit to you during your Presidency, and let me say that thank you very much,'' the Prime Minister told President Bush after the two leaders held a meeting at the Oval Office in the White House here last night.
''The people of India deeply love you. And all that you have done to bring our two countries closer to each other'' is something history would remember, the Prime Minister said.
The two leaders had satisfied looks on their faces and the body language spoke volumes about the meeting.
Pesident Bush demits office after the elections in the US to be held in November.
