Reacting to Vijay's address, Udhayanidhi Stalin launched a sharp attack on the Chief Minister.

The Leader of Opposition accused Vijay of delivering a "scripted" and "slander-filled acting performance" rather than addressing key issues facing the state.

According to Udhayanidhi, Vijay failed to discuss important concerns such as power cuts, farmers' problems, law and order issues and promises that are yet to be fulfilled.
He also criticised the Speaker, alleging that the Assembly's live camera coverage was handled like a film shoot, allowing Vijay to deliver an uninterrupted speech.

Udhayanidhi further objected to Vijay's comments on protesting farmers, claiming the Chief Minister dismissed their concerns by suggesting they were being influenced by opposition parties.
