Guj sends relief materials to flood-hit Bihar

Rajkot, Sep 16 (UNI) Two trucks of Relief material were dispatched today on behalf of the people of Gujarat for the Bihar flood-victims.

Responding to an appeal made by the local administration, people and local organisations have contributed for the relief materials to provide succour to the flood-hit Bihar, an official release said.

Two trucks, laden with 18 types of relief materials such as blankets, dhotis, lungis, saris, children wears, kitchen wears and utensils departed from here last evening for Ahmedabad, from where, it would be dispatched in a special train to Bihar, the release said.

Two more trucks of relief materials would be sent to Bihar in a couple of days, the release added.
