Parambikulam to be declared tiger reserve
Palakkad, Sep 2 (UNI) Kerala Forest Minister Binoy Viswom today said the Parambikulam wild Life sanctuary in Palakkad distrcit would be declared a tiger reserve during this financial year.
Inaugurating a bus service for tourists here at Parambikulam, he said preparations were on to declare the wild life sanctuary as a tiger reserve.
He said no Adivasi families would be stripped of their land and if any family wanted to move out of the sanctuary, the state government would provide all help.
