6 fishermen rescued from sinking boat
Kozhikode, Sep 2 (UNI) Six fishermen, who went for fishing in high seas, were rescued after their boat capsized off Puthiyappa coast near Kozhikode in Kerala today.
Fisheries Department sources said the fishermen, rescued from the sinking boat by the crew of other boats sailing nearby, were taken ashore safely.
The boat 'Devalokam,' which set sale into sea on August 29, sunk 30 nautical miles off Puthiyappa coast, the sources added.
