South-West monsoon weak over Kerala
Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 18(UNI) The South-West monsoon has been weak over Kerala as rain occurred at isolated places in the State and light rain at Lakshadweep.
A release from weather office said here today that Pattambi recorded the highest rainfall of three cm followed by Peerumedu with one cm.
The fishermen were warned that strong onshore wind from North-Westerly direction, speed occasionally reaching 45-55 kmph, was likely along off Kerala Coast during the next 24 hours, the release added.
