Northern Kerala to face restricted power supply
Kozhikode, Aug 13 (UNI) The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) today said it will impose restrictions on electricity supply in northern Kerala for seven days from August 17 in view of major renovation work.
According to a release by the Board, electricity supply will be restricted in Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Kannur, Wayanad and Kasargod Districts due to renovation work on 400 K V Udumalpetta-Madakkathara Line under the Powergrid Corporation at Kuthiranmala along Thrissur-Palakkad Road.
This would be in addition to the regular power shedding/cut imposed by the Board due to scarcity in power generation, the release added.
