One killed, 3 injured in road mishaps
Phagwara, Aug 2 (UNI) A woman was killed and her son sustained serious injuries when their scooter was hit by a speeding bus on Phagwara-Hoshiarpur road last night, police today stated.
The deceased was identified as Shakuntala Devi, a resident of Ludhiana. Her injured son, Ajay was admitted to the civil hospital here and was later shifted to a hospital in Ludhiana.
In another road mishap two migrant labourers, identified as Sameer and Toshib sustained serious injuries after being hit by a truck on Phagwara-Dosanjhkalan road. Both were admitted in the local civil hospital.
