Private vehicles restricted for pedestrian Kanwarias

Basti, Jul 27 (UNI) Plying of private vehicles has been restricted on the Basti-Faizabad National Highway till July 30 for providing better security to the marching ''Kanwarias.'' Giving this information, Superintendent of Police (SP) Laxmi Narayan Srivastava here today said the movement of private vehicles have been restricted on the route from late last night till the said date for security of these pedestrians.

Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) buses would, however, continue to ply normally, the SP added.

Police, homeguards and security officials would also rome in civvies, he informed.
