Ex-army jawan kills self, family

Etah, June 15 (UNI) Driven by abject poverty, a former army jawan along with his wife and brother committed suicide in Aliganj area here today.

Badan Beg had resigned from the army due to indisposition.

He belonged to a poor family and condition deteriorated after he left the job.

Cornered by his economic condition, Beg along with his wife Niksa and brother Shahid comsumed poison.

Bodies have been sent for postmortem.
