50.79 per cent voting recorded in Hamirpur PC by-election

Shimla, May 23 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Manisha Nanda here today said the overall poll percentage during the recent by-election in Hamirpur Parliamentary Constituency stood at 50.79 per cent.

Giving the break up of percentage in each assembly segment falling in this Lok Sabha segment, Mrs Nanda said percentage in Kot Kehloor and Geharwin assembly segments stood at 48.90 each, in Ghumarwin 41.31, in Bilaspur 45.26, in Nadaun 49.04, in Hamirpur 50.21, in Bamsan 62.50, in Mewa 49.02, in Nadaunta 52.09, in Gagret 51.93, in Chintpurni 46.83, in Santokhgarh 56.88, in Una 58.20, in Kutlehar 56.37, in Jaswan 50.48, in Pragpur 49.14 whereas Jwalamukhi assembly segment recorded 43.72 per cent polling.
