IAF fitter commits suicide in Kashmir
Srinagar May 8 (UNI) An Indian Air Force (IAF) fitter allegedly commited suicide in the Kashmir valley, official sources said today.
They said a Radar fitter Krishan Kumar hanged himself at the Air Force headquarter, Koil in south Kashmir district of Pulwama.
Kumar died before his other colleagues could save him, they said adding police had registered a case and started investigation.
The trend of committing suicide by the security forces in the Kashmir valley had not stopped even after the authorities introduced Yoga and Art of Living to help them to come out from the stress.
About two dozen security force personnel had committed suicide in the Kashmir valley during the past six months. About a dozen others were also killed by their colleagues in the valley during the period.
