Security forces, police bust ULFA camp

Itanagar, Apr 29 (UNI) The CRPF and police busted an ULFA camp in the jungles of Wingko and Nongthou under Namsai sub-division in Arunachal's Lohit district recently police said here today they said acting on a tip- off, 186 Bn CRPF conducted a special anti-insurgency operation to bust the outfit's camp.

Four muzzles of loading guns, 12 SBL guns, 12 live cartridges, 12 lead pieces, four deer hides, three deer horns and one elephant were recovered from near the hideout, the police said.

The operation was led by Commandant Sailendra of 186 Bn CRPF.
