721 boxes of illegal beer seized

Sagar, MP, Apr 27 (UNI) A large cache of illegal beer worth Rs 6 lakh was seized from a farmhouse here, police said today.

City Superintendent of Police Malay Jain said the farmhouse of Devendra Tomar was raided and 721 boxes of beer were seized yesterday.

A case was registered against Devendra and his employee Jalim under several sections of Excise Act, he added.
