Youth held for raping, murdering 3-year-old

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Mar 8 (UNI) The Waluj MIDC police today arrested a 24-year-old labourer for allegedly raping and murdering a 3-year-old girl in Ranjangaon Shenpunji village.

The youth identified as Shashikant Dilip Badane, a resident of the village, is accused of kidnapping the girl who was playing in front of her house last evening, according to police.

He had lured the girl by offering chocolates and took her to an under-construction site and raped and murdered her.

Badane was arrested from a grocery shop. He was heavily drunk at the time of the arrest, police said.
