AP mulls subsidised edible oil, pulse to poor

Hyderabad, Mar 2 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh Government is likely to introduce a scheme to supply edible oil and pulses at subsidised rates to BPL families.

Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy had directed the officials to work out modalities to implement the scheme, benefitting 1.82 crore families, an offcial release said here today.

A high-level committee, scheduled to meet tomorrow, would decide on its feasiblity.
