12 Bangladeshis, 3 Pakistanis killed in Saudi road accident
Dhaka, Feb 1 (UNI) A road accident in Saudi Arabia killed 12 Bangladeshi and three Pakistani construction workers leaving 14 others injured.
The accident occurred at Akuk in Dammam, about 400 kms from Riyadh, last night when a bus carrying the workers collided head-on with a pickup van, an official at the Bangladesh mission in the Saudi capital was quoted by UNB news agency as saying.
All the 15 workers died on the spot. Of the casualties, three were travelling by the pickup van. The victims were returning from their workplace at Akuk.
The officials said the 14 injured workers were Bangladeshi nationals. They have been admitted to the local hospital.
