254 arrested for power theft in Basti division
Siddharthnagar, Jan 20 (UNI) As many as 254 people have been arrested and sent to jail for power theft under a drive, this fiscal year in Basti division.
''Of the arrested, 81 belonged to Basti, while 80 and 93 hailed from Santkabeer Nagar and Siddhrathnagar districts respectively,'' Basti division Commissioner T P Pathak said today.
A total of 10,952 raids have been conducted and 489 people booked under the drive, he informed.
