AP registers 9.83 per cent per capita growth
Hyderabad, Jan 19 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today said the state had registered an impressive per capita growth rate of 9.83 per cent.
An official release here said the Chief Minister, who had discussions with state Planning Special Chief Secretary A K Goel here, expressed satisfaction over registering a growth rate of 9.83 per cent.
Dr Reddy said the industrial sector should attract more foreign direct investments to fuel growth.
Expressing hope that the agricultural sector in the state would register a record production this year in spite of the flash floods, he said the farmers received reasonable prices for their produce.
