Lok Sabha polls 2014: AAP releases fourth list of 61 candidates

New Delhi, March 10: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday released its fourth list of candidates 61 for the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

The party has announced two candidates from Delhi, four from Haryana, three from Punjab, 13 from Karnataka and 39 from Uttar Pradesh, a party functionary said.

Some of the prominent names in the AAP's fourth list are- V Balakrishnan, who stepped down as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Infosys on December 31, 2013 to join AAP, Tehelka journalist Ashish Khetan from New Delhi constituency, Col Devender Sehrawat from south Delhi constituency and satirist Bhagwant Mann from Sangrur in Punjab.

Balakrishnan will be pitted against the incumbent P C Mohan of the BJP.

With AAP's fourth list, the party has announced total of 131 candidates for the upcomig general elections that are scheduled to start from April 7 and will end on May 12.

The counting of votes will take place on May 16.
