T20 World Cup: Team India Plays Beach-Volley Ahead Of Super 8 Contest; Virat Kohli All In Smile

Ace Indian batter Virat Kohli and young guns Rinku Singh and Arshdeep Singh were spotted chilling and having a relaxing day in Barbados ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 Super 8 contest. Team India, which topped group A in the league stage, will play its first match against Afghanistan in the Super 8 game on June 20.

Ahead of the high-voltage India vs Afghanistan, Virat Kohli and other players were playing beach volleyball and the video of the off time was shared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Team India's latest video has garnered thousands of likes and shares, while the comment section is flooded with wishes and messages in support of winning the World Cup almost after two decades.

The World Cup has now moved to the West Indies after enthralling contests in the USA.

Rohit Sharma and company defeated Ireland, Pakistan, and the USA, while their match against Canada was abandoned due to rain without even toss. India's first match in Super 8 will be played in Barbados. Later, they will meet Bangladesh in Antigua on June 22, followed by a clash against Australia at St Lucia on June 24.

India's matches will commence at 8 pm according to the Indian Standard Time (IST).
