T20 World Cup 2024: How Much Prize Money Players, Coach, Support Staff, Selectors Will Get Out Of Rs 125 Crore
With a grand welcome in Delhi and Mumbai on their arrival after winning the T20 World Cup 2024, the Indian cricket team also received a whopping amount of Rs 125 crores from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Cricket governing body secretary Jay Shah handed over a Rs 125 crore cheque to skipper Rohit Sharma on behalf of the entire team and support staff.
There were a total of 42 members including the 15 players, 4 reserve players, coaches, backend support staff and others who travelled all the way to the USA and West Indies along with Team India.

"Players and support staff have been informed about the amount of prize money they will be receiving from the BCCI, and we have asked everyone to submit an invoice," a BCCI official told the media.
Now, a brief break-up has come up for Rs 125 crore prize money, which will be divided into 42 members of the Indian contingent. According to the reports, all 15 members of India's T20 World Cup 2024 squad and head coach Rahul Dravid will get Rs 5 crore each. While four reserve players, Shubman Gill, Khaleel Ahmed, Avesh Khan, and Rinku Singh, who also travelled to the USA and West Indies, will pocket Rs 1 crore each.
India's coaching staff namely batting coach Vikram Rathour, bowling coach Paras Mhambrey, and fielding coach T Dilip will get Rs 2.50 crore each.
The backend staff including physiotherapists, throwdown specialists, two masseurs, and the strength and conditioning coach will receive Rs 2 crore per head.
The rest of the members of India's team who travelled to the USA and West Indies will also be rewarded with a hefty amount.
India defeated South Africa in the T20 World Cup 2024 finals by 7 runs to end an 11 year drought of winning an ICC trophy.
