On Valentine's Day, he took to Instagram to share a video montage featuring his new partner, confirming his breakup with Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen. While he didn't reveal her name, he shared glimpses of their journey, revealing that their 25-year friendship has blossomed into a relationship. Lalit Modi was previously married to Minal Modi, whom he wed in 1991. The couple remained together until Minal's passing from cancer in 2018.

Sharing the heartfelt video, Lalit Modi wrote, "Lucky once - yes. But I got lucky TWICE. When a 25-year friendship turns to LOVE. It happened twice. Hope it does for you all too. #HappyValentinesDay to you all." The clip showcases precious moments between the couple, and soon after, congratulatory messages began pouring in.
