India vs England Ranchi Test Pitch Is “Prepared Of Soil From Mars”
The Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) is all set to host the fourth test of a five-match series between India and England. The Ranchi test will be played from February 23 to February 28, where the English side would like to bounce back and level the scores. Team India is ahead with a 2-1 lead which they claimed after winning the Rajkot Test.
In the upcoming Ranchi test, Rohit Sharma and men would try to lock the series, however, visitors would put in their best efforts to keep the series alive. The JSCA's ground is slightly bigger compared to the rest of the stadiums and the 22-yard track, where the contest between bat and ball happens has cracks and rough patches on it, which might give an edge to the spinners.

Ahead of the match, England Vice-Captain Ollie Pope called the pitch "prepared of soil from Mars" in his assessment.
Captain Bes Stokes was also not happy after looking at the pitch for the fourth test. He said the track looked greenish from a distance but when you go close, it has cracks in it.
"It looked interesting, didn't it? I don't know. I can't say much. I don't know, I've never seen something like that before so I have got no idea," Stokes added.
Stokes further said that if he won the toss, then would like to bowl first and see how the pitch actually behaves. It is a very unpredictable wicket.
