Jharkhand CM condoles death of A R Kidwai
Ranchi, Aug 25: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das yesterday condoled the death of A R Kidwai, former Governor of West Bengal, Haryana and Bihar.
The nation has lost an able administrator, reputed educationist and committed social worker, Das said in his condolence message.

Let the Almighty give strength to the bereaved family at this hour and eternal peace to the departed soul, he said. Describing him as a renowned educationist, former Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda also expressed his grief at Kidwai's demise.
Born in 1920, A R Kidwai served as Governor of several states for 17 years in Bihar (twice), West Bengal and Haryana. Besides, he held temporary charge of Governor of Punjab and of Rajasthan and Administrator of Delhi and of Chandigarh.
Kidwai (96) died today in a hospital in New Delhi after brief illness.
