Ludhiana: Three-year-old girl gangraped, battling for her life

Ludhiana, Sept 11: With increasing number of rape cases in various states of India, it can be said that it is no longer a safe country for the fairer sex- for rapists, it doesn't matter whether the girl is a minor or an old woman.
Another shocking report has come from Punjab's Ludhiana where a three-year-old minor girl was gangraped by two men in a slum area near Jassian Road at Haibowal on Tuesday night.
According to police officials, "the victim was assaulted and left on the roadside. She was bleeding."
The victim was taken to a nearby civil hospital where doctors referred her to the Post Graduate Institute of Medical and Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh, 110 km from Ludhiana, for treatment as her condition is said to be critical.
Based on the statement of their daughter, the victim's parents filed a complaint with the police.
