Schools, Roads Closures For A Power Packed Weekend In Noida: Details Inside
People of the Delhi and the national capital region and the Noida police are all gearing up for a power-packed weekend in Noida as the U.P. International Trade Show 2023 and the Moto GP Race take the first chair.
WHAT ARE THESE EVENTS?

1. U.P. International Trade Show: This trade show is being held for 5 days from the 21st of September till the 25th of September 2023 at India Expo Center and Mart, Greater Noida. Business hours for the show would be from 11 AM to 3 PM and Public Hours would be from 3PM to 8 PM. Tickets and entry to the show could be sourced from the show's official website itself. This is the "first Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show" which was inaugurated by President Droupadi Murmu on 21st September as per the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting's social media post. The show is set to host over 2,000 micro, small, medium, and large enterprises including agriculture, education, health and wellness, sports, tourism and hospitality etc.
2. Moto GP Bike Race: As per the MotoGP's social media page, this is "the first-ever #Moto2 session" to be held from the 22nd to the 24th of September at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida. Tickets for this event which expects over 1 lakh footfall over the next three days, range from Rs. 800 to Rs. 1,80,000. Some of the big wigs in MotoGP racing like Fabio Quartararo, Alwix Espargaro, Francesco Bagnaia, Jack Miller, Augusto Fernández Guerra and many more would be competing in the MotoGP Bharat Grand Prix.
THE U.P. POLICE ADVISORY AND RESTRICTIONS
FOR ROADS: The Noida Traffic Police has issued a few guidelines restricting and diverting traffic flow on the Noida-Greater Noida expressway for 5 days from 21st till 25th September 2023. Vehicular movement would be controlled and entry of heavy, medium, and light goods vehicles has been restricted from 6:00 AM on 21st September. Restrictions on the Noida-Greater Noida expressway are also imposed on buses, heavy vehicles, and non-commercial vehicles however, vehicles carrying essential goods like medicines, vegetables, and milk are permitted. Traffic police have encouraged people to use the Metro and have additionally also provided helpline numbers -9971009001 and 9355057381 for any assistance. Not only this, Section 144 of CrPC which prevents unlawful assemblies has also been implemented.
FOR SCHOOLS AND OFFICES: As per media reports, Dharamveer Singh, the District Inspector of Schools (DIOS), Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida) announced on 18th September that schools affiliated to all boards and for all classes be shut after 2 P.M. on September 21st and for a full day on September 22nd.
This also applies to all colleges, universities, and higher educational institutes as per the DIOS's directives.
For offices, government or private, no official orders have been issued and they may continue with business as usual.
