Tehelka fiasco: Journalist upset with magazine's response

Tejpal said on Wednesday evening that he was stepping down for six months as a move of atonement for what he claimed was a bad lapse of judgment and an awful misreading of the situation.
Shoma Chaudhury, the managing editor of Tehelka told the news channel that it was an internal matter and that the journalist was satisfied with the action taken.
Meanwhile, the National Commission for Women said Tejpal's decision to step down from the post of editorship was not adequate and said the judiciary must take up this matter.
The journalist alleged that she was assaulted by Tejpal at an event the magazine had organised in Goa in early November.
