SC adjourns Subrata Roy's case, to remain in jail till next hearing

New Delhi, Mar 10: In what may seem like a huge setback to

, the Supreme Court adjourned the Sahara case hearing today without fixing the next date.

This means that Roy will have to be in Tihar jail till the next hearing.SC was supposed to hear Roy's case on Tuesday, but the Court was adjourned without any date for the next hearing.

Roy was sent to judicial custody on Mar 4. Roy was arrested on Feb 28 after he missed many court appearances.

Meanwhile,The Supreme Court Friday said the Sahara Group's proposal to pay the entire amount to SEBI in cash instalments of Rs.2,500 crore each at regular intervals of three months was not acceptable.
