Noida Man s Double Life How He Lured Women On Bumble Snapchat With Fake US Model Profile

The Dual Life of Tushar Singh Bisht

By day, Tushar worked for a private company in Noida, providing him with financial stability. By night, he transformed into a US-based model supposedly on a soul-searching trip to India. Using fake profiles and stolen photos of a Brazilian model, he lured women on platforms like Bumble and Snapchat. His fabricated persona targeted women aged 18-30, promising charm and intimacy but concealing malicious intent.

How He Duped Women?

According to the report, the accused utilized a virtual international mobile number obtained through an app to create his fake profiles. Through smooth-talking and fabricated stories, he gained the trust of his victims, convincing them to share personal photos and videos. Over time, this casual manipulation evolved into a systematic blackmail operation:

The Victims and Their Ordeal

Police investigations revealed that Tushar had interacted with more than 500 women on Bumble and over 200 on Snapchat and WhatsApp. One of his victims, a second-year Delhi University student, filed a complaint on December 13, 2024. Her nightmare began in January when she befriended Tushar on Bumble. After moving their conversations to WhatsApp and Snapchat, he demanded money in exchange for not leaking her private content.

Initially, the victim paid a small amount, citing her financial struggles as a student. However, his escalating demands pushed her to seek help from her family and report the crime to the Cyber Police.

The Police Investigation

Under the supervision of ACP Arvind Yadav, the Cyber Police Station in West Delhi launched an investigation. Using technical analysis and intelligence gathering, the team traced Tushar's activities and arrested him in Shakarpur, East Delhi.

What Police Have Recovered?

  • A mobile phone containing incriminating content.
  • A virtual international mobile number used in his schemes.
  • 13 credit cards from various banks.
  • Chat records with over 60 women from Delhi and nearby regions.

Preliminary investigations revealed two bank accounts linked to Tushar, one of which had entries from payments made by victims. The police are probing further into the second account. At least four more women have come forward with complaints of similar extortion.

This case sheds light on the dangers of online platforms and the lengths to which individuals can go to exploit others. The police urge the public to exercise caution while interacting with strangers online and to report any suspicious activities.
