Despite notice from EC, Beni Prasad calls Modi an 'animal'

Beni Prasad takes a dig at Modi
New Delhi, April 25: Despite of being given a notice by the Election Commission, Congress leader Beni Prasad Verma continues to make personal attacks on BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narenrda Modi.

Verma, on Thursday, called Modi an 'animal' and said that he needed to be taught a lesson. Verma was addressing Congress workers in Gonda when he made the statement.

The EC is sure to take notice of this. EC on Thursday had issued a show cause notice to Verma for violating Model Code of Conduct.

Verma had earlier called Narendra Modi the 'biggest goon'. Verma had said that if Rahul Gandhi becomes the Prime Minister, Modi and his aide Amit Shah would be jailed for life for Gidhra riots.
