Delhi Weather Report: Know When Will It Rain In Delhi?
Delhi Weather Report: Amidst the red alert for continuously rising temperature, scorching heat and heatwaves, a piece of good news has arrived for the people of Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR). According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhiites may witness rain and a slight dip in temperature on Thursday and Friday. It was reported that rain is likely to be accompanied by strong winds, and thunderstorms in Delhi-NCR.
The temperature at the end of the week is expected to be close to 40 degrees, which is currently hitting the scale at 45. The weather monitoring department has predicted cloudy weather for the next 4 days at the time when everyone was asking when it will rain in Delhi.

Earlier on Sunday, IMD upscaled the Orange alert to Red in view of extreme heatwaves. However, a yellow alert was flagged for Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the maximum temperature at Delhi's Safdarjung base station was recorded at 44 degrees Celsius, which is 6 degrees above normal temperature in June. While the minimum temperature was recorded at 33.2 degrees Celsius on Monday.
In fact, the day heat is even affecting nights now. It was noticed that nights in the national capital were warmer than normal.
"The sky will remain clear on Tuesday. There are chances of heatwave conditions in most of the places and severe heatwaves in isolated areas along with warm night conditions in many areas. There are chances of strong surface winds, occasionally gusty winds, up to 30-40kmph during daytime," an IMD official had told media.
