Delhi BJP leaders stage protest at Kejriwal's office against 'Non-Performance'

Mimicking the protest by AAP party at LG's office, BJP leaders today sat on a dharna at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's office against the "non-performance" of his government, reports PTI. Rebel AAP legislator Kapil Mishra also staged a protest outside the CM's office.

On Tuesday, Tiwari said that the sit-in by chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and his cabinet colleagues at the Lieutenant Governor's office was a "mockery of democracy".

Tiwari tweeted, "Making mockery of Democracy, No Work only Drama (sic)."

Vijender Gupta, the leader of opposition in the assembly, called Kejriwa's sit-in a way to "shirk work".

"Delhi's maalik (owner) Kejriwal and company are protesting inside an air-conditioned room. Delicacies are being served to them from outside while the city's reeling under a water crisis. They are only concerned about politics and not about people's issues," Gupta posted on Twitter.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia today began an indefinite hunger strike at the office of the Lt Governor, where Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his cabinet colleagues spent the second night, a day after Health Minister Satyendar Jain sat on a hunger strike there to press for their demands.

The AAP government's demands to the L-G include direction to IAS officers to end their "strike", action against those who have struck work for "four months". It has also asked the L-G to approve the proposal for doorstep delivery of rations.
