Anti-corruption Helpline: Delhiites bomb Kejriwal with calls
According to sources, the helpline number received 3,200 calls withing three hours of its launch. The number -- 011-27357169 has been activated at 8 am on Thursday, Jan 9. Later Kejriwal informed that nearly 4,000 calls were received at the anti-corruption helpline and 38 serious graft cases have been filed till 3 pm on Thursday.
Anyone from Delhi call at the above mentioned number from 8 am to 10 pm and can lodge their problem if they are harassed by any corrupt man for bribe. Earlier on Wednesday, Kejriwal said, "Every citizen will be anti-corruption inspector. We will ask people to record anyone who asks for a bribe."
Person will be arrested within 24 hours of your submitting the evidence
Continuing his statement at a press conference, Kejriwal along with other AAP leaders said, "Har rishwat lene wale ke dil me khauf paida karenge aur aam aadmi ko anti-corruption crusader bana denge (It will instill fear in the corrupt, and make every common man an anti-corruption crusader)."
The youngest chief minister of Delhi also informed that the accused corrupt person will be arrested within 24 hours when the complaint will be filed against him/her.
"Trap will be laid and the person will be arrested within 24 hours of your submitting the evidence. State vigilance department has a team which will look into the matter," added Kejriwal.
