Delhi polls: AAP to release election manifesto(s) today

New Delhi, Nov 18: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Arvind Kejriwal is set to release the party manifesto for the upcoming Delhi assembly polls on Monday. The party, which has banked on a crusade against corruption over the last one year, promises cheap electricity, regular water supply and affordable accommodation for the residents of Delhi.

The AAP will reportedly release election manifestos for each of the 70 constituencies in Delhi, something which is unprecedented in history.

Sources said getting a Jan Lokpal Bill passed in the Delhi assembly is the topmost priority in the AAP's poll manifesto. It also promises to provide 700 litres of free water for every middle class and poor family, reduce the present electricity rates by half and also regularise unauthorised colonies.

The AAP has fielded candidates from all 70 constituencies in the state that will go to trhe polls on December 4. On Friday, the party completed its list of candidates for the Delhi assembly polls by declaring Dataram Bainsla as the candidate from the Ghonda constituency.
