Mumbai, Jan 31: Three days after splitting from the French President Francois Hollande, the former First Lady Valerie Trierweiler visited Mumbai on January 29.
This was Trierweiler's 'first public appearance' after the two separated following reports of scandalous love affair of Hollande with an actress.
Trierweiler visited Mumbai for a trip organised by Action Against Hunger (Action Contre la Faim, ACF).
On Monday, she attended a press conference organised by the Fight Hunger Foundation, an organisation working to prevent, detect and treat malnutrition in over 45 countries.

This was Trierweiler's second visit to India, before that, she came India with the French President in February last year and also spoke of her desire as First Lady and to become a champion of children's rights.
Last week, Hollande had confirmed to media by announcing, "I wish to make it known that I have ended my common life with Valerie Trierweiler."
The breakup came after a local celebrity magazine Closer reported on the President's secret love affair with a 41-year-old French actress Julie Gayet.
48-old-year journalist, Trierweiler has been Hollande's partner since 2006.
She was even hospitalised as she suffered from "an extreme nervous exhaustion", a week after the publication of a seven-page photo spread, titled "the President's secret love."
