Today, the weather in Mumbai is expected to be generally cloudy with light rain or drizzle throughout the day. The maximum temperature will reach around 31.0 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is expected to be around 26.0 degrees Celsius, as forecasted by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD). The high tide is set to occur at 00:10 AM, reaching a height of 4.07 meters, and again at 12:10 PM with a height of 4.1 meters. On the other hand, low tide will take place at 6:06 AM with a height of 1.14 meters and again at 6:18 PM with a height of 0.72 meters.

October 5: This day will also see partly cloudy skies. The temperature will rise, reaching a maximum of 32.0 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature will be about 24.0 degrees Celsius. Residents may experience some cloud cover in the afternoon or evening.
October 6: On this day, the weather will continue to be partly cloudy. The maximum temperature could reach 33.0 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature will be around 24.0 degrees Celsius. Expect some clouds to develop later in the afternoon or evening.
October 7: The skies will remain partly cloudy today. The maximum temperature will climb to 34.0 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature will be about 25.0 degrees Celsius. Overall, it will be a warm day with some cloudiness.
October 8: The weather will still be partly cloudy. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 33.0 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature will be 26.0 degrees Celsius. Expect clouds to linger throughout the day.
Mumbai Lakes Water Level
On Wednesday morning, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) announced that the water levels in Mumbai's seven reservoirs have reached an impressive 99.44 per cent. These reservoirs provide the city with essential drinking water.
Currently, the combined water stock of the Mumbai lakes stands at 14,39,300 million litres. This figure represents 99.44 per cent of the total capacity of the reservoirs.
Mumbai sources its water from several key reservoirs: Upper and Middle Vaitarna, Bhatsa, Tansa, Vihar, Tulsi, and Modak Sagar. According to the BMC's data, the Tansa reservoir is currently at 98.61 per cent capacity, while Modak Sagar boasts an impressive 99.80 per cent of its water stock available.
Further data reveals that Middle Vaitarna is at 99.67 per cent, Upper Vaitarna at 99.79 per cent, and Bhatsa at 98.89 per cent. Notably, both Vihar and Tulsi reservoirs are fully filled at 100 per cent capacity.
The BMC's report highlights the city's strong water supply, ensuring that residents have access to potable water as needed.
