Mumbai Weather Forecast: IMD Predicts Moderate Rain In Mumbai Over Next Five Days; Check Weather For June 22
Mumbai is experiencing light to moderate rain as the monsoon season continues. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts cloudy skies with moderate rain in Mumbai and its suburbs. The maximum temperature is forecasted to reach 33 degrees Celsius, while the minimum will be around 27 degrees Celsius.
June usually brings high temperatures to Mumbai, ranging between 28 degrees Celsius and 31 degrees Celsius. The month is known for frequent rainfall, averaging between 15 to 22 days of rain. This is typical of the city's tropical monsoon climate, which results in heavy precipitation during this time of year.

Mumbai Weather Forecast For Next Five Days
According to the IMD's Santacruz observatory, the next five days will see cloudy skies with moderate rain on June 23, 24, and 25. Either lighter rain or thunderstorms are expected on June 26 and 27.
Districts On Yellow Alert In Maharashtra On June 22
The IMD has issued a yellow alert for several districts. A yellow weather warning indicates bad weather spanning several days, suggesting potential disruptions in daily activities. These districts will experience thunderstorms accompanied by lightning, light to moderate rainfall, and gusty winds (40-50 Kilometers per hour) at isolated places. The affected districts include Dhule, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Pune, Kolhapur, Satara, Sholapur, Aurangabad, Jalna, Parbhani, Beed, Hingoli, Nanded, Latur, and Osmanabad.
Monsoon Update
The Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into more parts of Maharashtra and other regions. It has reached the remaining parts of Vidarbha, some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Odisha. It has also covered some parts of Gangetic West Bengal and the remaining parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Jharkhand.
Conditions are favourable for further advancement of the Southwest Monsoon into more parts of the North Arabian Sea and Gujarat. It is also expected to cover the remaining parts of Maharashtra and additional areas in Bihar and East Uttar Pradesh over the next three to four days. This ongoing monsoon activity is crucial for agriculture and water resources in these regions.
