Mumbai: Vinod Kambli, wife Andrea Hewitt accused of assaulting singer Ankit Tiwari's father
Mumbai, July 2: Singer Ankit Tiwari's father RK Tiwari filed a police complaint at Bangur Nagar Police Station on Sunday alleging that he was punched by the wife of cricketer Vinod Kambli in a mall. The incident took place on Sunday when Kambli and wife Andrea were in the city's Inorbit Mall.

Kambli and his wife, meanwhile, have alleged that RK Tiwari intentionally brushed his hand against Andrea and "inappropriately touched her".
"We were at the mall around 3 pm when my wife caught hold of an old man's hand. When she caught him in the act, he pushed her away. When we were at the food court, two men, who we assume were the man's sons, tried to attack my wife," Kambli told the Mirror.
It is also learnt that while the Kamblis filed an FIR, the Tiwaris too have registered a police complaint against the former cricketer and his wife.
