Maharashtra Weather Forecast: Yellow Alert For Mumbai, Orange For Pune, And Other Districts Across The State
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issues a 'red' alert in Raigad and Satara and an 'orange' alert in several other parts. Mumbai is experiencing heavy rainfall and significant waterlogging. The maximum temperature is anticipated to reach 28 degrees Celsius, with a minimum likely around 24 degrees Celsius.

Mumbai is set to experience predominantly rainy weather over the next five days. The IMD has issued a yellow alert until July 26.
July 25: Temperatures will be between 24 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius, with a generally cloudy sky and moderate rain.
July 26: Expect temperatures between 24 degrees Celsius and 28 degrees Celsius, with a cloudy sky and moderate downpour.
July 27: Temperatures will range from 24 degrees Celsius to 28 degrees Celsius, with a cloudy sky and moderate shower.
July 28: Temperatures will vary from 23 degrees Celsius to 28 degrees Celsius, with rain showers.
July 29: Expect temperatures between 23 degrees Celsius and 29 degrees Celsius, with continued rain.
IMD Alerts
I. Red Alert:
In Raigad, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in some areas, with extremely heavy rain anticipated in isolated locations.
Satara is forecasted to experience extremely heavy rainfall in isolated spots within the ghat areas, while moderate rain is expected in the plains.
II. Orange Alert:
Palghar, Thane, Ratnagiri, and Sindhudurg are likely to see heavy to very heavy rainfall in a few locations.
In Nasik and Kolhapur, heavy to very heavy rainfall is predicted for isolated ghat areas, with light to moderate rain expected in the plains.
Pune is forecasted to receive extremely heavy rainfall in isolated ghat areas, with moderate rain in the plains.
III. Yellow Alert:
Dhule and Jalgaon are expected to experience heavy rainfall in isolated locations.
Nandurbar is forecasted to see heavy rainfall in isolated ghat areas, along with light to moderate rain in the plains.
Amravati, Chandrapur, Nagpur, and Wardha are likely to experience heavy rain and thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning, in isolated areas.
Maharashtra Rains: NDRF Teams Deployed
Due to the heavy rainfall warning, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) has deployed teams across Maharashtra. In addition to their usual locations in Mumbai and Nagpur, NDRF units are now stationed in Vasai (Palghar), Thane, Ghatkopar, Powai (Kurla), Mahad (Raigad), Khed and Chiplun (Ratnagiri), Kudal (Sindhudurg), Kolhapur, Sangli, and Satara as per the report shared by Business Standard on Tuesday.
