Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024: CM Eknath Shinde To Contest From Kopri-Pachpakhadi Seat
Shiv Sena, led by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, announced its first list of 45 candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. CM Shinde will contest from the Kopri-Pachpakhadi constituency. This development follows the BJP's release of 99 candidates in the Mahayuti alliance.
The list was shared on social media by Shinde, invoking the blessings of Shiv Sena founder Balasaheb Thackeray and Dharmaveer Anand Dighe.

Maharashtra elections are expected to witness a fierce battle, with the spotlight on two major rivalries: Sena vs. Sena and NCP vs. NCP. The internal splits within these parties make the contest even more significant as each faction aims to establish its dominance in the state.
