Yazidi Woman, Rescued From Gaza By IDF, Recounts Horror Of Living Under ISIS: 'They Fed Us Flesh Of Babies'
Former Islamic State captive Fawzia Amin Sido has shared the horrific experiences she endured during her decade-long captivity under the group.
In an interview with the Jerusalem Post, Sido, a Yazidi, described how she and her two brothers were forced to 'eat the flesh of Yazidi babies.'

"They (ISIS) prepared rice for us and gave us meat to eat with it. It had an unusual taste, and some of us experienced stomach aches afterward," Fawzia told the publication.
"They told us this was the meat of Yazidi babies. They showed us pictures of the decapitated infants and said, 'These are the children you just ate'," she added.
She went on to recount how one woman suffered a heart attack and died shortly after, while another woman recognised her own child, who had been beheaded.
"The woman identified the baby by its hands. They (ISIS) forced us to eat it. But it's incredibly hard to come to terms with... it wasn't in our control," said Fawzia, who was just nine years old when she was taken captive.
Fawzia is one of many Yazidi women (a religious minority in northern Iraq) who were enslaved by ISIS during their reign of terror in 2014.
While the group has previously been accused of feeding human flesh to captives, this account provides the clearest confirmation of that claim.
Fawzia Sido was also 'sold' to several jihadist fighters, including Abu Amar al-Makdisi, with whom she had two children.
Her captivity came to an end earlier this month when she was rescued from Gaza by the Israeli military in a joint operation with the US embassy. Though she is now with her family in Iraq, her children remain with al-Makdisi's family in Gaza.
