‘Will take international media to the area of strikes’, says Pak foreign minister in denial mode

Islamabad, Feb 26: Pakistan continued to remain in denial mode about the airstrike carried out by India on Jaish-e-Mohammed's (JeM) biggest training camp in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said Islamabad would take international media to the area of the said strikes, but when the weather is fine.

" Pakistan will take international media to the area of strikes, helicopters are being readied, right now weather is bad, will fly when weather permits," news agency ANI tweeted.

He also responded by saying his country "holds the right to proper response" to what he termed a "grave aggression"

The airstrike was conducted 12 days after the terroist group killed 40 Indian soldiers in a suicide bombing in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama.

The PTI, the party headed by Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, said in another Twitter post that "Qureshi warned India not to challenge Pakistan" saying "Pakistan is fully prepared to respond to any misadventure."

Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) tweeted that Indian "aircrafts released payload which had free fall in open area. No infrastructure got hit, no casualties."
