The Game Awards 2023: Baldur's Gate 3 Sweeps Six Trophies - Check Complete Winners' List

Baldur's Gate 3 triumphed at The Game Awards, clinching an impressive total of six awards, notably securing the prestigious Game of the Year title. This celebration of gaming excellence took place at L.A.'s Peacock Theater on December 7, with a widespread broadcast across more than 30 platforms, including YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, TikTok Live, and X.

Standing tall among the nominations alongside Baldur's Gate 3, Alan Wake 2 garnered eight nominations and triumphed in three categories: Best Narrative, Best Art Direction, and Best Game Direction. A standout moment of the event was Neil Newbon's acknowledgment for Best Performance, portraying Astarion in Baldur's Gate 3.

The ceremony held its share of surprises, notably the unveiling of EA Originals' upcoming title Tales of Kenzera: ZAU. Sega also stirred excitement by announcing the revival of iconic franchises, bringing back titles like Crazy Taxi, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Jet Set Radio, and Shinobi. The 10th annual Game Awards truly highlighted the industry's vibrancy and innovation.
