Osama's letter to his wife: I really want for you to be my wife in Paradise

Washington, May 21: Osama Bin Laden was determined to fight against the US till his last breath. Although there were reports that he was done and dusted, the declassified documents reveal that he had the will to fight till the very end, but there was also an emotive side to him.

The emotive side to Bin Laden is seen in one of the letters he had written to his wife, where he appears apologetic for putting her in a difficult situation.

While giving her permission to re-marry, Bin Laden says on judgment day she will have to chose between him and her new husband in paradise.

The apple of my eye

The letter that has been written in Arabic does not however indicate clearly to which of three wives he has written the letter to. It seems as though he wrote the letter to his youngest wife, who many had claimed was his favourite.

He says to her that even if she decides to re-marry, he would want her to chose him in Paradise. The letter which begins with Bin Laden enquiring about his son and two daughters also directs her to send their son to the battle field.

He says that he understands that she is in a psychological crisis. I am thinking of finding a way out for you, he writes.

"I ask God to speed up the resolution for you and to get us together on the shores of safety sooner and not later. I give you permission to return to your family and re-marry. But you will have to raise my children properly. If possible get the girls married to Mujahideens (fighters) and send my son to the battle field," Laden writes.

"As for you, you are the apple of my eye, and the most precious thing that I have in this world. If you want to marry after me, I have no objection, but I really want for you to be my wife in paradise, and the woman, if she marries two men, is given a choice on Judgment Day to be with one of them.

Bush a liar and butcher

It was evident that Bin Laden had a great amount of hatred for George Bush. He refers to Bush as the new age pharaoh. Bush is a liar, a butcher and a killer, Laden writes in one of his letters. He also says that the war against America is far from over.

We will continue to fight America till our last breath. They are not aware that the war on terror that they have declared will hurt them very badly, he says. The war on terror will hurt the US economy very badly, Bin Laden had predicted in one of his letters.

George Bush has declared that the mission has been accomplished (war on terror). However Bush has underestimated all of us. We will continue to rise and oppose him every day. He has underestimated the Lions of the Desert who will rise and oppose him, Laden also says in one of his letters.
