Not again! Man who made flight attendants wipe his butt books more tickets with same carrier

Beijing, Jan 31: For the flight attendants of Taiwan's EVA Air, it is a terrible, terrible news.

An obese elderly man, who created a big scene during a flight from Los Angeles to Taipei earlier this month by making women flight attendants to wipe his butt after defecating, has reportedly has booked more ticket on the same airliner's flight in a couple of month.

The American passenger, weighing around 200 kilograms, boarded an EVA Air flight on January 19 and the flight attendants will remember it as one of the blackest journeys.

The man had created a fuss for wanting to go to the toilet and made the women flight attendants to pull down his trousers and even wipe his back.

The traumatised attendants had later revealed their ordeal on the social media and press conferences.

The man, however, seems to be little bothered despite the backlash. It has been learnt that he has booked a ticket from Bangkok to Taipei on May 17 and then from Taipei to Los Angeles, according to a report in Taiwan News.

The man is actually a frequent flyer on EVA Air and has made 20 journeys in the past, as per the airliner. His records were dug out and it was learnt that the man had come up with a request to wipe his butt even during a flight in May last year but was turned down.

The news of the man booking more tickets with the airliner was left even its employees irked, so much so that one even accused the airliner of bullying its employees regardless of public opinion and asked whether one should buy tickets from such a company, the Taiwan News report added.

One EVA Air worker even told Taiwan's SET News () on the condition of anonymity that the said passenger was blacklisted but he still managed to slip through by putting an extra space in his name to escape the scrutiny.

The worker said the passenger was classified as one who was unable to take care of himself and required to produce medical certificate along with a nurse for flying.

The airliner was yet to come up with a statement on the man's future flights with it, reports said.
