NICE terror- French-Tunisian identification papers found
Paris, July 15: Authorities in NICE have found identification papers of a French-Tunisian as a massive probe is launched into the truck terror strike today in which at least 80 have died and scores injured. The anti terrorist investigators have taken over the probe.
The investigators have also found that the truck which drove 100 meters before killing 77 was loaded with heavy weapons. [Live: France Terror Attack]

Reports of gun fire were also reported earlier before the driver was shot dead by the police. The police said that the truck was laden with firearms, grenades and explosives.
It appears as though the driver wanted to first mow down the people and then later blow up the truck. Had the driver not been killed, the death toll would have been much higher.
Earlier reports of a hostage crisis too had been reported. However the authorities denied any such thing.
