ISIS releases video, threatens to kill 2 Japanese hostages
Cairo, Jan 20: The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) released a new video on Tuesday threatening to kill two Japanese hostages. The video, addressed to the Japanese PM Shinzo Abe and to the people of Japan, shows two Japanese citizens kneeling next to an ISIS militant.
The knife-brandshing militant demands $200 million as ransom from Abe within 72-hours in the video at the price of the two men. The two men have been identified as Kenji Goto Jogo and Haruna Yukawa.

The militant with a British accent in the video said the Japanese were targeted for supporting Western military efforts against it.
"You have proudly donated $100 million to kill our women and children, to destroy the homes of the Muslims," the militant says.
Meanwhile, Abe has strongly condemned the video and vowed to save the hostages. Abe said: "ISIS threat to kill two hostages unforgivable."
